Sheer Havoc Box Finish
«

The box finish of the Sheer Havoc is called COMPOUND, I bought one of these, when they first came out, it was dull. 2 friends bought one the other day and theirs are polished, what is the Sheer Havoc supposed to be, dull or shiny??

Compound is between polish and dull. When applied by hand if you press hard enough it will actually look like polish.
All of the Sheers I have drilled, and mine were all compound with the factory finish looking close to that of the Animal.
I think that companies have a difficult time getting them all the same. I have drilled a few Ultimate Infernos in the past, and I had one (what a nightmare). The one I got was sanded to what looked like 600, and the others were polished.
