Bowling This Month gave it a 16 backend rating!!! How in the world can a Particle ball have this high of a backend rating? And they say Particles can't keep up with Reactives on the backend...
I threw a friend's Sheer Havoc and the ball reminds me of the THRASH through the fronts and then at about 42ft-45ft, it looks like somebody gives it a swift kick in the straddle!!! Not a snap... but a very hard arc... super, super strong!
Alot stronger than the THRASH on the backend!
If companies would make Particle balls that are as Strong as this ball is, more often... then I would be a happy guy!
Just hope it lasts more than 35 games before it dies!

Anybody else as impressed with this ball as I am?

Yep, excellent ball. Polished it's clean through the fronts but excellent control of the breakpoint. Strong, hard arc. Add a little surface and the core and surface is strong enough to handle some oil. It'll be interesting to compare this to the Freak-a-zoid...low RG resin vs low RG light particle.

I really like the Sheer Havoc. Strong controllable arc at the breakpoint. It is useable on almost anything....except dry and floods. Chapman is correct....add a little surface I would imagine it would hook decently, but I have not done this with mine. It is far too good of a ball with the factory finish.
Ric---you hit it pretty well in my opinion....similiar reaction through the heads and mids as the Thrash, but stronger on the backend.
Track has a winner here, but since it was released so late in the league season it will probably not get the "PLAY" it deserves. VERY similiar to the Crunch----bad release time for a great ball.

Good point Ex. I think a better release date of this ball would have it selling a lot more. Just not much interest in bowling equipment right now and then when the season starts the "new" balls will get all the play.
