What do you guys use when the lanes become wet/dry from side to side? I tend to see this in league a lot and struggle with it sometimes. Thanks for your help.

2000 smooth no polish or 4000 smooth no polish works best.

Would a Machine (particle pearl) be a good fit for this condition? Any required surface prep?

This is probably the best solution for a reactive coverstock. You'll still have some gloss from the smoothness of the abralon pad, but you won't get that jerky reaction once the ball hits the dry due to the tacky polished shine!

100% true. I normally go with more of the 2000 smooth finish than 4000....it smoothens the transition.

erh300,
No one mentioned this but surface is not the only area of concern. It's where you feed the ball into the dry to make that bounce off the dry. You maybe getting over reaction because you are getting it to the dry too early. Think about that when you put all the factors together playing a wet/ dry side to side shot. I also use a 105 deg. layout w/ average lower medium solid reactive when playing wet/dry. Even arc less over reaction.
