Slash - Crash - Crunch Time
« on: October 24, 2004, 03:19:27 AM »
Can you drill up these 3 balls differently enough to give you a reasonable arsenal or would there be too much overlap.

Slash - Leverage Pin next to ring (Heavy to Medium)

Crash - Pin over ring, c.g kicked out.  (Medium w/Carrydown)

Crunch Time - Leverage pin over fingers (Medium to Light)

Just curious as to how they would go, also if they overlap where would they over lap the most(which balls), i feel the Crunch Time might be to strong?

Looking at your profile, if your speed is average and your revs are above average.....the Crunch Time is not going to be a ball for light oil. Infact I see it above the Crash.

Having not thrown the Slash yet I do not know if it will fit in the heavy stuff for sure. Some of the other staffers here have had a chance to throw it so they may be able to better answer that for you. My guess based on the specs though is that for Heavy to Medium condition would best be served with a Havoc or even a Freakazoid sanded down.

Hope this helps,

Thanks thought that might be the case.

Will see what the Slash is like when the site is up.

Might try and stick with the Slash and the Crash, if not the Sheer Havoc and Crash. Don't see true heavy oil often enough for an animal or such. Might replace the Crunch Time with a Super Sonic, i have heard good things about this ball for the price.

loki,

For the dry stuff a Hexplosion would be awesome!!! The carry that this ball gets when it gets to the pocket is unbelieveable.

Hey Loki,

I agree with Ex, the Crunch Time for me also was a little stronger than expected.  If you don't see a lot of oil, I'd go with the Slash, FreakaZoid and the Crash/Hexplosion.  I really like the FAZ for the medium conditions and its even rolling characteristics fit well for many players.  I have my Crash high polished and it works well on the drier stuff, I may try what Ex just mentioned though because the Hexplosion is also very even and predictable rolling for me.  Hope this helps...
