what would happen if i polished up my rule gp2? im just wondering what the results would be.

Hey Falcon,

If you polished up the GP2, naturally I would believe it would get alot more length and have more of a snap on the backend. Hope this helps some buddy! God Bless You! Have a great week!

Polishing the GP2 would result in more length...no question.

It is a very versatile ball......so that would more than likely decrease hook considerably.

If you do go to polish the GP2, I would first take the surface up in grit with something before polishing. The few I polished for myself I learned REAL quick it was almost impossible to polish GP2 without taking the surface up first. The first GP2 I tried to polish without taking the surface up and just left it factory...I think I had to put 6 or 7 coats on for the polish to take...it was unreal, but so is the case with a heavy load particle.

I actually polished up one of my GP's and it considerably decreased the hook by about 7-8 boards.  It didn't really give the ball more backend, it smoothened out the overall reaction.  I have a dual speed spinner so polishing mine wasn't too difficult.  It worked well on the med lite conditions.
