Up Rising
« on: August 12, 2008, 07:21:01 AM »
I am a Brunswick guy, but had the opportunity to throw the Up Rising along with the other new Track equipment at BTM Super School last week. We were bowling on wood lanes on a freshly oiled THS. All the new equipment coverstocks were OOB. Also, had the opportunity to throw the Up Rising on the PBA Viper pattern. I was very impressed with the Up Rising's reaction at the breakpoint and power at the pins. The ball gets through the heads with ease and picks up nicely at the midlane. It is very strong at the breakpoint and with a monster 7 pound core the ball just shatters the pins. On the Viper pattern I played down 5 and as long as I kept my ball speed consistent the reaction was very angular into the one-three pocket. This ball is a must have especially for Track fans. From what I was told the Up Rising will complement the Rising very well.
