Just bought the delta 1.
« on: November 25, 2005, 06:02:00 AM »
I just bought a delta 1.  I will pick it up tommorrow.  I was going to order one because the pro shop guy didn't have any long pin outs of this ball but I wanted to use it for my Sunday league so I took what he had.  I'm going to put the pin under the ring and kick the mb right of the thumb about 2.5 ".  This ball is 15lbs with 4.5oz of top.  I will also polish it with magic shine because I know the OOB cover will be to strong for what I want it for.  I will keep all of you posted on how it works out.

Anothe rquestion is my delta 1's cg is off set about 1.5" to the left.  So what i'm going to do is drill it with the pin under the ring and the cg in the palm(on the grip center line) with the mb right of the thumb.  The cg wont matter correct?

Correct the CG won't matter assuming you don't want a balalnce hole.
My Delta also has the CG shifted to the left this allowed me to have a 4 x 4.5 drilling with no balance hole, ended up with 5/8oz pos. Mine only had 2.25oz top though.

Yes I don't want an x-hole.  I have stayed away from x-holes because they tend to make the balls harder for me to control.  Plus I really like the reactions I have been getting from balls without x-holes.
