We have not had a new 5 series ball in a while, what do you think is next? Or possible a new series? Or a new 6 series, any thoughts?

I have the 300C and really like this ball but would not recommend it for true toasty conditions. I have spent quite a bit of time researching what to use for the toast and have settled on ordering a Brunswick Slingshot.

My 505A works well on light to medium but look out the layout and you'll understand why. 63* 6" 50*

If you drill balls strong they will be strong especially an asymmetrical with .05 intermediate differential and a MP Gen 3 cover. Track's website states Lane Condition Medium / Medium Light. I would agree with that the way I laid mine out and keep the ball surface 2000 abralon with a very light shine of Factory Finish less shine than OOB.

There is still room for me under the 505A for the 300C.

At a 3-man tourney this weekend I watched a Track Staffer who is a hi-rev wrongsider warm up in the finals with a Solution Power Plus Ex and he left ringing to flat 7's playing an outside line 12 at arrows to 6 on the burn. He went to a 916AT shined took a 4000 ab pad and scuffed it slightly and moved into 17 at arrows to 6. His carry was outstanding. My point being that it's not always ball down to get the look and carry you need on dry. Actually I tend to use slightly stronger stuff laid out slightly weaker moving in for better carry.

Scott, I could not agree more. I feel anytime you can get the higher end balls in your hand you will be at an advantage. I prefer weaker drillings on stronger surfaces over weaker balls. Also, sanding the ball going with the track will really calm the reaction down. Really the opposite of the old days when you sanded urethane to get more hook. Stronger covers, weaker drillings, and more surface usually works best.

The 505A is not a strong asymmetrical ball. The intermediate differential is only .005, which a lot of symmetrical balls have that amount only they don't mark it on the ball. You can actually ignore the mb marking and lay the 505 out as a symmetrical ball and be ok cause of the weaker mb rating. Just my $.02, Bruce

I think they will come out with a new series where else can they go in a 5 series ball. The 505T is the strongest ball they can go in a 5 series ball and the A is very angular. I think they will try to build maybe the 6 series up or go with a 300T series ball that will have very chartastics of a Urethane Ball which would be awsome. i suggest to Paul a 904C. Taking the core out of a 916AT and making a more contrable cover of a 715C and throwing it on a 9 series ball. I think if they made something similar that the ball would benfit a lot of bowlers and be a good complimant to the 916AT. What do you guys think of a C series ball in the 900 Line.

We will always have a 5 series ball. The next ball in the 5 series line with have a different core cover combo. I would assume the same thing for the 7 series line as well. Fig said that he wants the next 5 series line to be 20 percent better than the last. Personally with the 715T 505T and 916AT we are seeing what our covers can really do. Track is pushing the envelope in every aspect of equipment. If you haven't tried the one ofour bowling balls, you are really missing out.

What will likely change in the 5 series will of course be the covers and the core.

Something like a 504, 506, or 507 A,C,T series ect.

Personally, I wouldn't considering right now you could get one for $90 with the particular specs you might want the ball to have. I understand a month or so from now you might luck out and find one on ebay for cheap, but who knows what pin or top weight it will have, or if it might be a blem the seller is selling as a first.
