Solution PP EX at the Hoinke.

I just got back from the hoinke in Cincinatti Ohio.  While there I found the lanes to break down alot and decided to pick up a solution power plus ex from Steve Fehr.  He put a nice control drilling on the ball, and awe man this ball is awesome.  My first game with this ball I threw a 191.  For my first 3 game set I threw a 636 with it.  Yeah it doesnt sound like much, but i only average 173 in my home house.  With the control drilling I found this ball to be great for reading the lanes when they start to break down.  This is one awesome ball, really easy to control, and awesome pin action. I used to love throwing columbia stuff but now i am really considering going to an all track lineup.  

 I am wondering how would the two solutions compare to each other?  I heard that a track staffer was there bowling this weekend and was wondering if he was on this site at all?

Excellent bowling.
Glad you liked the Solution PPEx, the pearl; I like mine also.
The solid, the Solution PP, uses a slightly different formula in the cover (besides being a solid); it comes sanded to 900 grit.

Suggestion: don't ever make a wholesale change to any one manufacturer based on one performance of one ball. Yes, I like almost all Track products a lot. But take it one step at a time. Get another one, like the Solution PP, for medium to medium+ oil and see how you like it. Then add another for another purpose.  "Test the waters first." Track makes a bunch of excellent products and people here on this forum are among the best on ballreviews.com: helpful, courteous and patient. So, be patient and enjoy!

Control drilling meaning like 2 1/2 X 4???  Weighthole on PAP?

Looks like drilling #3 on the track drilling sheet.  however mine was not drilled with a weighthole.  Sorry I dont really know the exact distance from cg and pin to pap.
