Yes the layout on the ball may call for some earlier roll, yet remember with ebonite stuff you can alter the cover to get the reaction you want before you have to go to the degree of plug and redrill. I would say pick up a 4000 abralon pad and hit the ball with it on high speed on a spinner. Then hit it with a good finish of some factory finish or even magic shine. This may help it get down the lane and give you more of a snap. If you still dont see anything close to what you want then plug and redrill. Always keep the plug and redrill as a last resort to what you want to do.

there is nothing wrong with how the ball was drilled, it just may have not been the drilling best suited for his PAP and game..

I was considering that drill on my Kinetic, but my PAP is 4 5/8 1/4 up..

Agreed.
He said he didn't want it as flipy as his PM. with the proper lane conditions and cover adjustment X should get just what he asked for.

great ball leave the bwp on the bag and the angular one and the g force nebula and gforce solid... that i have.. this ball its totally awesome has a huge impact at the pins hits harder than my lane 1 bowlingb alls... and rolls harder and better that any ball that i have.....extremly angular.. well i have two one drilled pin over ringer and mb to the left of the thumb(RH) and the other with pin over bridge and mb to the right of the thumb ... and both are sooooo different... the firsto ne its very arcing but so storng at the end and hits... OMG... and the second one its the most angular ball that i have thrown yet.. and hits even harder.....i throw front 8 then a solid 8 pin and finish with 3 for a 279 out of box with the first ball

The kinetic cost me the league championship last night.  Beautiful ball needed the first strike in the 10 to win, STONE 9....The ball just hits too hard...lol

Sounds like the Kinetic is getting pretty popular. Drilled one for a regional player here identical layout to his BWP.....the Kinetic was 5 stronger at the breakpoint.

Threw my pro-shop guy's Kinetic he had drilled, pin above ring, MB about 1 inch away from thumb. Good length, actually a whole lot of length, and a good move on the back. Looks good.
