Mr Lefty,

For polished balls such as the Xception I like to do this:

Usually I use a spinner, but it can be done very well without the use of a spinner.

You need a WHITE scotchbrite pad and Track's Clean n Dull. The White scotchbrite is 1500 and will really not change the surface of the ball. Put the Clean n Dull directly onto the scotchbrite and wipe half of the ball with it APPLY VERY LITTLE to no pressure in small circular motions. Leave it sit on the ball for 20-30 seconds then wipe it off with a dry towel. Do this to both sides.

The Clean n Dull and WHITE scotchbrite will not alter the surface of the ball. It will get the oil and dirt out off very nicely.

Goodluck,
