Strike Machine vs. Threshold
« on: September 25, 2006, 05:25:48 AM »
It seems there are more bowlers on this board who throw Track equipment than Dynothane.  I have been looking for a new ball and am down to my final 2 choices.  I bowl on a med-heavy THS with a bit of carrydown from time to time.  I seem to be more of a speed dominent player with med-high mph's and 300 to 350 rpm's.  I just got rid of most of my equipment and only have The One right now.  Very interested to see what you have to say.

I think the Threshold will be a lot stronger than the Strike Machine.  The strike machine might overlap your One a little bit more than the Threshold.  I think a better top two would be the Threshold vs Mean Machine.

In any case I would go with the Mean Machine > Threshold > Strike Machine if I had to rank those from first to last on a ratio of Performance vs What would give you a different look opposed to your One.

I hear the Threshold is a MONSTER! I have heard a guy say that the Threshold is stonger than my Morich TSA and I have yet to see anything as strong as that. Granted I have not seen the Threshold but, I have seen a MM and the TSA is stonger than the MM.
