Big gap in my arsenal
« on: April 12, 2005, 10:45:18 AM »
Well I sanded my freakazoid down some to like 2000 grit... doesn't really do what i'm looking for... My friend who has bowled forever and taught me to bowl think i try to find something of a medium ball... I just felt last night in league that i just have a big gap in my arsenal between my rule Gp2 and my Au79... I don't know what to feel it with... I need something good on medium volume long patterns... My friend has an Absolute that i threw which i like well... I just don't want to buy a ball drill it up and find out its not what i need.... any help would be great...

I agree 100%, the Slash would work nicely there. It is by no means a heavy oil ball, but it will work awesomely on heavier mediums down through mediums.

I'll look into the slash... I just hate changing surfaces ... cause i messed around with my gp2 surface and the freakazoid and can't seem to get them back to what i started which i really liked... I'd almost rather just leave surfaces alone and buy one more ball to fit medium long patterns...

Hey frock,

I don't know if the Slash is a whole lot more than the AU79.  Mine wasn't but I did drill it a little mellow.  I really like my Arsenal Aggressive drilled mellow under my GP2, surface alone on that ball gives me plenty of strength.  Hope this helps...
