Title: Suggestions on filling the gaps
Post by: tommyboy74 on February 05, 2012, 04:00:39 AM
I wanted to pose this question as I am in the process of replacing my Storm/Roto Grip arsenal.  Ever since switching 2 balls to Track/Ebonite, I have really liked what I've seen and want to replace the remaining 4 balls over time.  The other reason I am replacing everything is that I am moving everything from 15 to 16 lbs.  (My Track 919C and Ebonite Vital Energy are both 16's and an outstanding combo for me).  Plus, the 4 balls I am selling are now sold, so I will want to replace these soon.

Stats: throw right, 380-420 revs, 19-22mph, low track.  My A game is playing outside but do move in and circle the lane when needed.

The balls that are being replaced are: Storm Virtual Gravity Nano (pin down), Storm Anarchy (pin up), Roto Grip Nomad Dagger (pin up), and a Roto Grip Rising Star (pin up).

My early thoughts were to look at a Mission X for the fresh with heavy volume.  I was also thinking of slotting a 508A, Brick, or an Evolve in somewhere for medium, and maybe a 300T or 300C for light.  I am not going to limit this to Track either- suggestions with any of the EBI brands are welcome.

My arsenal

Heavy Oil: Storm Virtual Gravity Nano: 2000 AB
Medium-Heavy Oil: Storm Anarchy: 1500 polished
Medium-Heavy Oil: Track 919C: 3000 AB
Medium-Heavy Oil: Ebonite Vital Energy: 4000 AB
Medium Oil: Roto Grip Nomad Dagger: 1500 polished

Medium-Light Oil: Roto Grip Rising Star: 1500 polished

You can't go wrong with adding a 508A or an 811A to your arsenal. As far as replacing the Nano, you can go with a Mission X or a Dark Encounter. We have sold a bunch of these dark encounters, and these things flat out HOOK. The continuation through the pins is phenomenal. Something for light oil, you can't go wrong with either a 300C or a Cyclone. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I have to disagree with the earlier comment on the 300c or cyclone. the cyclones coverstock if im not mistaken is the same as the original the one.  i have thrown both the 300c and cyclone and there is a huge difference in the two. so if you get the cyclone, make sure you use a weaker layout. you might want to look at the misfit. im not to much of a fan but they have been saling quickly around here.
