switching to 15...already have a 16 GP2
« on: November 15, 2005, 05:24:12 AM »
But I like that ball.  I'd like to try so many different balls, but should I just get another GP2 at 15?  Or try another ball?

My second and third game suffers when the lanes dry up.  I can't seem to get the same ball speed.  If I switch to a 15, I'll be able to get the ball down the lane.  I already have a 15 Heat.  I would like a bit more length, but I like my GP2.

Should I switch, or get another GP2?

Hey kc,

There's quite a gap between your GP2 and Heat.  What if you filled that gap with a 15lb med/med to med lite ball (Slash,Solution PP,5.0, or Angular) and then build your 15lb arsenal around that?

Typically I do recommend to my customers that when they do a weight change, they should change all their equipment to that particular weight for feel and consistency purposes.  Exception to the rule is when they are comfortable throwing different weights without having a negative effect.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the response.  How about the Arsenal Reactive?  There seem to be good reviews about them.  I throw about 16mph, not too much revs, avg about 205ish.

thx,
Vinnie
