Title: Switching to Track
Post by: Brodieman on August 18, 2005, 07:18:00 AM
Im tired of storm products I feel that they are turning out one piece of crap after another.  Im wondering what i should get for a 2nd shift shot.  For the most part in our league we will get a decent game of carry down, but then things tend to become fried.  (Prior league is a 5 man ours is a 4)  I throw a good amount of revs with a moderate to higher amount of speed.  Any suggestions?

Have not thrown it yet (tonight) but I done some research and it sounds like the Desert Heat might work.

If the lanes are absolutely fried, with your revs, the Desert is probably the way to go. The Desert will still hit for you unlike some other weak balls. If you can give us some more info we may have other choices as well.

Thanks!

the desert is for the drier stuff and for fresh lanes with carrydown i would sudgest the Arsenal Aggressive.

Welcome, hope you stay

Ive tried the storm barbed wire but it hits like grandma.  For the most part the lanes are fried if you get above 16 on a 32 lane house.  I right now am throwing a fear factor which never leaves the bag on a monday, and a trama, which is about the same hook potential only ive shined up the surface and throw it hard as hell.  I dont have many problems with the trama except for the last game i just cant control the back end

If you can use a Trauma, then possibly a Heat would work as well. Out would be the Angular and 5.0 as they are huge backending balls. Any particle ball or dull ball is also out as they would burn up too quick on a 2nd shot. That pretty much leaves about the Desert Heat and Heat.
