So I would assume the look would be similar to Total NV, a solid that has a pearl look.

Total NV is pearl though.. The NVD that is coming out is the first solid in that line..

I am pretty sure the Total NV is just a highly shined solid with a pearl look.

The NVD is the only solid besides the original NV in that line. Hit the Ebonite forum up for that.

Here's the 411

The Tantrum is a 1000 grit polished solid. It has an additive called pearl essence. It has no reactionary influence at all. It is for look's and shelf appeal only. It definately does a great job at that.

It would only be a Pearl if it had our Performance Pearl Additive. This would make the ball go 3ft longer if it had it in it.

Although the Tantrum is a solid, do not allow yourself to be fooled....it turns over in the backend. So if you want an idea of the reaction incase you have not seen it: It rolls very simliar to the Temper, but it turns over harder when it encounters friction. Many of us have stated how the Temper was very smooth and even rolling...you get that out of the Tantrum, but in a ball that creates more area on the lane.
