Tell me....
« on: June 29, 2006, 12:21:13 PM »
....WHY is it Track for you?

The question says it all. Why is it that you choose Track equipment!??

For me it began with the Assassin. I liked the ball. After that the equipment got really "stale". When Del took over I was at a trade show and saw the Freak. The core just looked so much "DIFFERENT" than anything I had seen in a bowling ball before. From that point on I loved Track Equipment. Long before I was ever a staff member I had a chance to talk to Del....he is a hell of a guy. VERY down earth....and he loves bowling equipment like we do. He really seems to love what he does. That is very important in my opinion. It doesn't seem like a job to him when you listen to him talk about core designs and lane play.

I chose Track because ALL of their equipment fit my game so well.

For me, it started with the Hex, then the Voodoo. Eventually I got the Freak, Freak Out and Super Freak. I have owned and loved just about every ball they have made since then. They just roll so well for me, and they hit a freakin' ton!!

I have tried other stuff, but didn't care for it.

I chose Track because tenpinspro gave me a Havoc he no longer used and the ball was such a perfect match for me and the hit and pin carry was like nothing I have ever had, so I immediately switched to Track. I then began buying more and I now own 5. (was 6, but just gave one [ a 5.0 ] to one of my sons who needed a newer ball but couldn't afford one)

For me it was the VooDoo and the Mojo that set me on the Track to Track....

Couldn't believe how good these 2 balls were and how they really fit into my game.  Since then I have been a Track Nut...

For me, it started with the original Heat! I bought it used from a team mate and immediately fell in love with the ball. I threw 2 300's with it before it finally fell apart and then came the Nuke! I threw my highest series with that ball and have been throwing mostly Track ever since!!

For me my journey with Track started when I was in search of a new heavy oil ball to replace my Ebonite V2 Particle (great ball, just had thrown too many games with it). Thanks to some great discussions online with tenpinspro, we came to the conclusion that something like the Animal might fit my game. Srlunatic was selling one, decided to buy it and try out Track for myself. Well, I loved it so much that I moved into buying the Rule, a used Slash, a NIB Havoc, the RoboRule and now the Solution Power Plus Ex. The covers and cores match up well to my game and have helped me whether it's on normal house conditions, modified house conditions, sport conditions and just plan old tough shots in general.

I can't wait to see what will match up well within the new crop of balls that are coming in July and August.

Hey Carl,

Though I'm going through the perverbial slump right now. I can still explain why Track has given me so much success. Back then say around '01 or '02 I was throwing alot of Hammer and Columbia. One day the guy that used to always drill every piece of equipment for me was throwing the Animal. I had thrown the Phenom Unleashed but couldn't give up Columbia because back then it was my passion. I had the Animal punched up and it just blew me away from then on. Next I remember came the Rule and X-Ception. I got off course for alittle while trying alittle bit of Brunswick, Ebonite, and Storm. One day, the guy who owns all the pro shops here in Alabama and I had a talk and he said that it would be good to be what he calls 'company loyal' because thats how people get noticed and asked about wanting to be on staff along with many other factors contributing. It was then when I made the decision to go back to Track and stay with it permenantly! Remember having the Slash and Heat remake punched up. Got another X-Ception punched up and it was full blast for me from there. I have been throwing Track ever since, and have recorded my third 300 game and 1st 800 series with Track products! Though the slump is in effect as of right now, I will never stray away from Track again, guaranteed! God Bless You All and have a great week!

How I got addicted to Track balls. When I first started off I was throwing a 14# Columbia Spirit. Then one day I bought a 14# Track Avenger and I loved the ball. When my Avenger started to die on me my friend gave me his 14# Threat second he had laying around so I drilled it up and  I was very impressed with the strengh of that ball. Soon I moved up to 15# and started drifting away back to Columbia when I bought a discontinued Reaction Ricohet and a Wired. Then I got a Brunswick Inferno. I was throwing those 3 for a while till I bought me a 15# Sheer Havoc and I was back to Track again. My Dad gave me his 15# Crunch Time and I pluged it and redrilled it. I threw those 2 alot more then my other balls and I still have them now to this day. Soon I was looking to fill the heavy oil gap in my arsenal when I entered adult league so I bought a 15# Arsenal Aggressive second. All I can say is I love the way this ball performed. I was looking for something for dry and one of my friends I bowl league with had 2 15# Overseas Red Slashs I made an offer to buy one and he sold me it for a great price of 45 bucks. I put a basic dry lane drilling in it and it was great. Now just recently I bought a 15# Track Machine and I loved the ball and I plan on sticking to Track from now on. Like it says in my sig IM A TRACKER FOR LIFE!

I think Coral Triton was my 1st, then original Heat the Elite Pearl back in 98-99, everything else just gradually got squeezed out(Ebonite and Storm mainly, and my Columbias wore out!! Wow pear is ok though and the odd B ball sneaks in at times, 90% of the time the flaming T *rules* over all!!)

For me, it began with the Track TKO. I have never thrown a ball that carried like that before.

I don't buy equipment often, so the only other two track balls I have are the Freak and the Crash. The crash reminds me alot of the TKO, for medium to medium dry conditions. My freak I have to wait for an oil slick to use, but when it's there, it will move and carry.

my first Track ball was the TKO Punch, the first one that really stood out in my mind was the Assassin, I love the reaction I got, nice length, and then the lethal back end that crushed the pins. the only honor score I have thrown with Track was a 299 with a Mutant playing up the gutter on a flood, but other then the 2 Scouts I threw while getting back into the game, it has been nothing but Track for me. when I got out of the game, I had 2 Rules, 2 FAZ, 2 Hexplosions, a Havoc, a Sheer Havoc, a Animal, a Animal Untamed, a Dry Heat, a Boxing Glove, a Arsenal Angular, and a Crash. now I have a Rule Delta 1, Arsenal Artillery, Desert Heat, Boxing Glove, and a Machine and either a Arsenal Reactive or Heat remake on the way. no matter how you put it, (borrwing a quote from Stuart Little) "If it ain't Track, it ain't bowling"

I go back along way with Track. My first bowling balls were the Critical Mass Code Red and The Flare around 1995. I had moderate success with these balls while learning to control hook in my first league season. When I won sweeps in my first season with the Flare for $800 I was hooked. 11 years or so later and I've had many 300's, 800's and numerous tournament wins all with Track.

I've used other equipment for comparison purposes but never in tournaments. I hope this explains my passion for the company and I will continue to use Track equipment as long as the company continues to lead the way in Technology.

Thanks,
DW
