Tell me what you think about this line-up
« on: April 15, 2016, 10:36:46 PM »
Ok, after asking a lot of questions and getting some great answers and advice from a lot of folks, I've come up with the following line-up.  Ebonite Warrior Elite (some polish), Track Lx05 (maybe a little polish), Track Mx05 with no surface changes.  If I'm going to drier lanes, I'll leave out the Elite and probably add in an Ebonite Cyclone.  If the conditions are going to be really dry, I've got a Columbia Scout.  Of course I'll have a plastic for spares.

Would really appreciate any comments or suggestions.

Thanks a lot.

I have a warrior elite and the ball is amazing.  Very consistent reaction, just need to make sure you play a part of the lane with some head oil.  One of the most consistent balls i have seen.  Below it i would suggest the gamebreaker 2 line.

Thanks for the reply.  From what I've read, the Track Lx05 should be close to the Gamebreaker 2 and the Mx05 should be close to the Gamebreaker 2 Gold.  Correct me if I'm wrong.  I agree about the Elite.  One of the strongest balls I've ever had.

I see you are an EBO guy. I have a solid Cyclone and that ball is anything but weak! It's one of the strongest balls I own. You must be thinking of using one of the pearlized looking ones which seem to be considerably weaker than the solid. In any case that core is strong so beware. I was thinking more along the lines of a 300c for when the lanes start drying out. I'm sure Track has replaced that ball with another number series ball, by now, but I don't know what it is.
Some days you're the bug....some days you're the windshield...that's bowling!

Thanks for the reply.  I have a Cyclone but it's not a solid.  It is, like you said, a lot stronger than would be expected for an "entry level" ball.  One of the best buys for the buck on the market.  I do believe, however, that mine will be a little weaker than my Mx05 and will be great on drier conditions.
