Brickguy,

I saw Rick over the weekend. He was busy running a tournament in Reno. I think he'll be back to everyone in a matter of time...

Hi Unc, I'm back....as you can tell..  I was at the Reno National Bowling Stadium all weekend hosting the 60th annual Labor Day tourney for what used to be PCC (Pacifc Coast Chinese Organizations) There used to be 6-7 chapters of this organization and I was the last President of the Oakland chapter.  The chapters were comprised of the following cities; San Franciso, Oakland, Fresno, Bakersfield, LA and Sacramento (Santa Clara and Orange County temporarily).

These clubs have been in existence for over 60 years but unfortunately due to the decline in membership in the sport, we were forced to shut down many of these chapters.  Our new organization Asian American Bowling Association (where bowl400 heads as President and myself as co-chair) have taken over in trying to keep our sport alive.  We have been active for about 7 years now in doing so, running 2-3 large tournaments a year for our bowlers.  We have one open tounament (be a USBC member or purchase on spot) a year that if you bowl, it opens you up to any of our tournaments (not racially controlled but for sandbagging control purposes).  We run a very tight ship to help protect all the other bowlers.

Anyone is welcome to join in, feel free to contact me for details.  Good to be home though....and I "HATE" casinos!...LOL Does that tell you how I did?
