Ex, Clint, Rick you guys are more helpful than you think.  With bowling people cant test a ball to see if they like before they buy.  What you guys are able to do is very benifical to a bowler like myself.  I'm very serious about bowling.  I like the competitiveness and make good money doing it.  I would end up spending money on balls that I have no idea what kind of reaction I will see except for what the ball manufactures tell me.  This can be very costly.  I'm glad you guys are on the track staff.  Thanks guys!

If the situation described above by chitown is not true for every poster to the Track forum, I'll eat my hat (if I had one).

And add Anthony Chapman to that list.

I've been to and participated in every forum here, extensively, and I feel it is very safe to say that no other bowling ball manufacturer's representatives to BALLREVIEWS.COM are as thorough, valuable, insightful, non-judgemental and helpful as the group of guys here.

Make no mistake in assuming I am criticizing all the others. I am not. Some of them are are darned good technical people and very helpful. Some I would trust as far as I do the Track guys, but none stand out, as far as I can see, in all aspects of what we need and want, as do Carl, Rick, Clint and Anthony.

(Where is Anthony these days? Haven't seen a post/note from him in a while lately.)

aaaww charlest, stop embarrasing me.  Seriously, thanks for the compliment. I feel we do a pretty good job of giving as much help as possible and allowing bowlers to make an informed decision when it comes to not only equipment but also drillings and lane play.  We are all so helpful and quick to answer that I feel like I'm on jeopardy and I have to push the button first or I'll be like the 5th answer to a question

Didn't you catch my videos of the Blue Heat and Desert last week?  I didn't post much over the weekend because I was taking advantage of the low humidity and mid 70s weather here in the DC area.  Played plenty of golf over the past 3 days.

I've seen that. Time, another factor that the others can't seem to match.

Didn't watch them, yet. I can't do what you do with a ball; so I'd just get even more jealous.
I'll view them soon.

Weather wasn't too bad here in Jersey, either. Almost like it's trying to give us some taste of Spring before Summer arrives with its nasty humidity. Didn't play golf - played "gardener" after work, Thursday, Friday AND Saturday.

Anthony,

Just watched your videos. (I've seen a couple of your videos before.)

The amount of control with speed and revs that you have make me feel like I'm watching an educational tape for the PBA Hall of Fame ... Hard to even think about the balls. (I think that's how I felt the last time I watched your videos.) Make me want to take up crochet or needlepoint ...

It's people like him that made me realize I NEED a day job..

Ghost, Ex is a great guy.  His knowledge and dedication in helping others in our sport has been priceless.  Just more reasons as to why he's part of the Track team.  We don't have to be here and we're not paid to be here, it's just what we do.

Hey, hey...don't get carried away now (I truly appreciate the compliment though).    That's why I still love going to PBA events and watching guys like Weber, Barnes, T Jones, and Amletto.  Amletto was and still is my favorite to watch. I've watched his telecasts from '97 a few times and I've watched his title win this year about 10 times .  That shot he threw in the 10th against Traber had me change my underwear...

I echo what Charlest said here. These guys have been overly great and helpful to me as well as other bowlers. These guys take that extra step to help, advise, solve, etc.  bowlers problems. I can't say the same for other ball manufacturers representives in their ball company's Forums on this site as I personanly haven't experienced this type help in their Forums.

I agree with everything said above. These guys have helped every dedicated and occasional Track user decide which balls and drillings would be best before you spend big dollars on every ball released (although I do that anyway).

Thanks guys!
Keep up the good work,
