Went to a small track seminar on tuesday where tour rep Chuck Gardner and pro Bob Learn gave instruction as they were in town for the Empire State classic. I worked with Chuck and Bob only for a few shots and they gave me some pointers as my release consistency and timing have been somewhat suspect. Subbed last night and plowed a 208 the first game finishing with the last four strikes after remembering two points Chuck had said to try. Well went sheet 300, seven pin spare next 7 and finished with a 258 the last game.
To me it reiterates a point of good game instruction is much more valuable than the newest hook in a box.
P.S. - I would also like to thank Billy Cornell at Del Lanes for hosting the seminar and also working on my ball for a better fit. Also Bob Learn does private lessons and i must say he was a very impressive coach. He has a great demeanor and works with someones style, he really impressed me and would be money well spent for lessons. He was working mostly with a few very release and style troubled individuals.
Thanks again,
Richard - Yes Chuck the lefty, your favorite siders. As you need a lefty, I'm game and not a robo lefty. LOL (seminar joke)
