Title: The Heat
Post by: thedjs on April 11, 2016, 07:55:37 PM
Is this ball similar to any discontinued Track balls?  Say the Mx05 or even the Lxo5?

For me the reaction is same as seen in the videos long and strong but really great when the lanes open up.

Here's his reply.

The Heat would fall between the Lx05 and the Mx05. It is stronger than the Mx05 but has more length than the Lx05. I would suggest getting one of the Tour SIC’s and shining it. It will be under the Mx05 polished and above it sanded.

I have been throwing the Heat for the last 3 weeks and really like this ball.  I had it drilled pin down and it gives me a strong continuous move of the friction (not a hockey stick but strong arc).  I have have thrown this in two houses in the different leagues that I bowl in and have scored very well  shooting 724, 758 and 692 the three times that I have thrown it for complete series.  The ball is rated for medium to light oil but for me it will work on medium to medium heavy conditions.  Compared to my LX05 i would say that the Heat is 4-5 boards stronger than my pin down LX05.
