"Just when I thought I was out....they pull me back in"...

Carl and I will be making a trip to Kentucky soon to go over our new and GREAT pieces. The LEGION still lives and will be stronger then ever with FIGS at the helm (glad he's there). We'll be keeping all our loyal Track fans on the up and up with the exciting news.
LONG LIVE THE LEGION!

Hmmmm, hint hint, are you hinting at the name of the first Track release.....
THE LEGION.....???

I agree, that name sounds real good. Unfortunately, even if they start doing testing in the upcoming weeks, it'll probably be July or August before we see anything be released to the public.

Awesome, Rick, I can't wait to hear more news!
--------------------
Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...
I invented America.
Proud member of the Track Legion, though I'm seeing other companies on the side.
-
Great news. I have started to try other companies for fear that Track would never be the same. Hopefully with the help of long time loyal Track testers and staff (like Rick and Carl) we will continue to have quality equipment for "THE LEGION".

Thanks,
DW

Well, we'll see. It would be really nice to not see Track fully disintegrate.

I don't know why you'd think it would disintegrate. Just look what happened to Hammer after Ebonite took them over. They now have some of the most popular stuff going.

Trust me. I'm hoping so. I've invested alot into Track products as of late(including the Phoenix). That ball, nor the Mean Machine or Power Machine has led me astray yet...

Hey Xcessive,
I promise you won't be disappointed. I spent at least 2-3 hrs with Ron H and Randy T (on my first trip). These gentlemen in R&D are "very impressive" to say the least, very sharp guys. They're a little bit out there (strong point in design and covers) too but they can relate info like Carl and I do. I apologize for not being able to offer you guys more info at this time but we will as soon as we can. If you have trusted Carl and myself for the last 4-5 years, just give us a couple of months and we're going to blow your minds away! Just a little more time guys and we'll be BACK on TRACK!

Sounds good. As much as I love my Total NV, I want that to be the last non-track ball I buy. I checked out some of your videos by the way. Nicely done. My favorite one is the video of you throwing different balls from the same line to show differences in power. I'm going to be seeing my coach this upcoming Monday. I want to focus more on video time so I can post them as well.

Rick and Carl.....
This is some great news... Glad we are getting our ducks back in a row with Track. I still use my Animal and Triple Threat in tournaments and league. I have new equipment but I always go back to what works. I just seem to match up with Track equipment.

Hey guys,
All I know is that Rick, and Carl have not lead us wrong here. IMO the Prez and Vice Prez (I think it is time carl got a title in the legion.) have everyone in mind. If they say that good things are to come then I belive them. The last time carl told me that is when I was looking to buy a ball when I first met him and that lead me to the Animal. Now as many of my legion members know that is my fav. ball of all time. So if carl tells me to there are good things to come, then I can only imagine what is in the works for us. So I say we sit back and enjoy this wild ride that we have been on this past year.

Hmm, possibly a new addition to the Machine line that's better than the Power Machine??? If so, that's gonna take alot of work. The Power Machine is devastating.

If we going "Back to the Future", one of the next balls could be,
"The Time Machine".

Rick, Glad we got to meet the other day. You should all know that I read almost all of these posts, just don't respond too often. I'm really looking forward to seeing what lies ahead for Track. I've been on board since the original Code Red.
On a side note, anyone in Reno should stop by the Bowlers Journal. I'm working there until the end of the tournament on Monday, Tuesday and Friday during the daytime. There are only a couple of us who run the tournament, I'm one of them.
I can't wait.

I've tested three other companies equipment just to get a feel for ball reactions now that I have gone down to 15lbs but the ball I use the most is the Robo Rule. Just can't wait for the new equipment.
LONG LIVE THE LEGION!!!!

I'll be very happy if the new Track has a complete arsenal before the end of the year. I know that is asking a lot but the major companies have complete arsenals and some versatility for high rev and lower rev bowlers in the medium heavy to medium light oil categories. To be a major player again (as in the 90's) there has to be some versatility in my opinion.
--------------------
Thanks,
DW
-
I agree with dw23 - the only hole I "need" to fill is light oil. If the new offerings are better than my present for medium to soup, I will be in line for a replacement. Like Carl stated HOOK sells. I hope the timetable for the new releases will allow for a full arsenal in the near future (at least in one of the lines).
--------------------
Gary
-
I can see the interet level is very high!!!!!!! Already talking about a full arsenal and we have not had a release yet.
I would expect Track to be a strong techy type company like it was a few years ago.....and there will be something for most conditions.
