alright - this ball is such a beast. first got it drilled. threw three games - went a 748 - first 258 - second 247 - and third 253. i loved it. cant wait to throw it on thursday in my league.
so if you are looking to throw a ball from track - i would highly recommend it!

I currently use the Solution Power Plus EX as my oil ball. The Desert Heat for dry. Could the Machine be drilled to be a little tamer? 400-450 revs 17mph.
-
yeah it was a 758 - just accidently put a 4. lol - yeah thanks for the possitive feedback..
im definatly loving track. throwing it in a league first time tomorrow - so lets see what i can get.

Hey K-Dawg, great shooting buddy. I have #2 (w/ DPat's layout) sitting under my counter waiting to be drilled.
I'm experiencing the same problem in summer league at this one house as DW just wrote about. This house is super walled but it's super over/under at the same time.

Dogman, you can tame it down some by drilling the mb in a weak position along with the pin (maybe) above mid finger (if your track permits this). If that's too much still you can polish it for more length. It's a very versatile ball to work with.

Nothing....I am putting some variety in my life....I need to wait and see on a few items first, but this sounds like how my arsenal is going to be for the fall...I am hitting more tourneys this year so I decided I need more surfaces to play with!
Check out the new thread I am starting in a few minutes for all the details!

I love the Machine. Even though it is strong I have found it to be very useful on a variety of lane conditions and on a variety of lines. WITHOUT question it is my "go to" ball right now.....actually, both of them are my go to balls right now!

For what it's worth, the Machine is now the first ball out of my bag, at least for this summer. Sometimes it's too much. If it is, then I switch to the Arsenal Artillery. So far the two have been just about all I've needed, using an inside line of 15 out to around 8 or so and in for this summer. And of course, a spare ball. It might also be that both balls are green and since we haven't had rain all year in Albuquerque, maybe it's just psychological too.

Almost forgot to mention...I am averaging 190 this summer so far.
All I know is that the Machine is my favorite ball.

Finally drilled Machine #2 5 1/8x4 1/8mb pin 3.5 above mid line on bridge (slightly cheating the centerline, meaning left, my pap is 5 over 3/4 up). I weakend the layout even more then what DPat suggested to see how much length I could produce from it and so far it's working. Pretty amazing actually, it goes much longer compared to my first one which is 3 3/8x3 3/8mb pin at 2 3/8 above mid. Both balls are at OOB surface purposely to do this comparison of layouts. They are approximately 6-7 boards apart, I will post vids soon on this. Very versatile ball........
