The Rising layout for high track player

My Rising is getting dropped off today and wanted some suggestions on how to drill it. I noticed the recommended drilling for this ball is the pin in the bridge area, but in the past every time I put the pin in that position, I thump over the thumb badly. I know this ball is new technology so maybe that drilling would work for me, but just not sure. I am a high tracker and normally track very close to the thumb anyways..

Can this ball be drilled stacked? Something similar to pin beside the ring with the cg stacked under and the bomb to the right of the thumb in the 70 degree range..

I was curious if any high track players have drilled this ball up and if so, how is it drilled..

Kiser, I track high also and I drilled mine with the pin 1" above gripcenter.  Are you going up to the shop tonight?

tomorrow night.... I know he bowls tonight at Jupiter plus their is a football game on tonight..

Will you be there tomorrow night? I just hate to drill a ball with the pin in the grip center and have it thump.. I would be sick..

I had previously asked this question to Rick Leong before.  He indicated that with the 7+ pound core and how the Mb is you will not have any problems.  All recommended drillings will work even if you track high.  I never did get my Rising as I was too chicken sh*t to try the recommended drilling.  I guess my "fear" got the best of me.

Sorry about that jk,  I thought I answered this....man, getting old is heck!

I understand your concerns with pin in drills but our Rising is truly different.  Not only from extensive testing in Hoptown, Carl and I both have drilled our suggested layout #1 for high track bowlers with great success. You should have no problem as well.

Between the core and mb strength of this piece, it does pull most bowler's track downward beginning with the first oil line which is followed by a pretty large flare (Even "I" get 7+ inches on mine drilled in this manner).  Pretty amazing....
