Well, quite honestly, all I know is that the review was there. I haven't really had the chance to read the whole issue...it's not technically out yet and I haven't been in the office enough to meticulously go through the folder with all the files delivered to the printer...I was much more concerned with proofing my stories...

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

This must be the pearlized version, right? I won't get my BJI until next Tuesday or Wednesday. This may be the ball I've been waiting for.

Well, I guess that it's a solid then and there must be some tweak to the core or a stronger/weaker coverstock which I'm not sure really interests me, but I'll wait and see.

"Paul Figliomeni, Track's brand manager, noted: ' the Kinetic Energy is the second ball in Track's upper-mid-price line. It features the same Shuttle Core as in the original Kinetic...we have wrapped an all new UMP GEN 2 reactive coverstock around the ball to complement the reaction to the original. The Kinetic Energy use's a bowler's energy sooner, but still gives the expected backend.'

We compared the Energy to the original Kinetic to check the accuracy of Track's intent. The Energy did not disappoint. It was a foot or so earlier; it's breakpoint motion was also more arcing...1-2 boards more on oilier patterns, slightly less on dry and beaten-up patterns...

Easy length, with predictable and dependable motion for most house patterns...

Hook: 48 Length: 14 Breakpoint Shape: 14.5"

I don't know about Kinetic Energy, but the USBC approved list shows Kinetic Art approved in Jan 2008, and the Track website shows a ball release in 28 days.
