Thrash - Underrated???
« on: December 07, 2003, 07:23:19 PM »
Why don't we hear more about this ball?  I only know one person who throws one and it looks very good from a reaction standpoint as well as cosmetic.  Anyone have any feedback on the Thrash?

The Thrash is an awesome ball. I have had mine since early June and still love it. It offers great reaction and punch at the pins, and at the price point it is at, you cannot beat it. I tried a Threat, and the Thrash is far better in my opinion.

I believe the Thrash did not take off as well as it could have because of the release time. The Crunch, the Thrash and the Super Freak were all released at about the same time, which was after the league season had already ended. If it had been released in August there would be as many people throwing the Thrash as there are throwing the Triple Threat.

the trash was a great ball....awesome hit.

i got rid of mine because some guy liked it soo much that he bought mine and thought he could throw big games with it too.  i replaced it with another freak out.  and im getting the same consistant sweep to the pocket, but with a deaper line.

GET ONE!...it's dirt cheap for an awesome finish!

I agree with Mr T and Ex,

The Thrash IS a very good ball but release time was bad.  I'm out in the West Coast where bowling doesn't come to a halt in the summer like it did back home in the Midwest but not sure why manufacturers continue to push balls out at that time.  My business still slows down a ton during the summer.
