Differences between the Assassin and the Enforcer

Upon reading up on some of their older equipment I noticed these have the same covers and cores.  All of the specs are the same too with the only difference being the color.  Why did Track decide to release the same ball with two different names?

I never threw the Enforcer, but a friend of mine had one at the same time that I had the Assassin. These 2 balls were nothing alike. Atleast they weren't with the box surface. The Assassin got through the heads much cleaner and had far more backend. They both did very well at the pin deck. Just because Diff and RGs are close and they have the same core does not mean they are the same ball. The coverstock in today's equipment is the most important thing. The Assassin could have had a lighter load of particle than the Enforcer. I do not know that for sure, but that is simply an example.

I had another thing to add, and this is going to sound funny, but the pigment put into a ball does have an affect on how it hooks. This was stated to me by both Del Warren and Mo Pinel. I thought it sounded weird, but if they say it about a bowling ball, they are probably correct.

I also feel that the Assassin with the NIB surface reacted alot like a pearl.

Yeah I had heard the Assassin went nice and long and had a real hard backend.  BBR's specs for both balls are the same....but I'll take your word that the Assassin was longer.  I have to say though, I really do like the look I'm getting with my Enforcer.  I might also look for the Assassin down the road.

According to the website of track(discontinued balls),coverstock of Enforcer is Pro-tracton(TEC),coverstock of Assassin is Pro-traction Plus.
