too many ball releases
« on: August 27, 2005, 01:29:57 PM »
has soured me on track....other companies as well...

and while track has terrific cs/reps...ect...it's just gonna get worse w/the new epoxy combo's to come out...

just see no need for so much stuff...esp...when most of it's good already...unlike the parent company which has sold some garbage...

just gonna KISS...keep it simple stupid...

besides...only wrw jr....seems to be having any luck on "tougher" conditions....chris barnes w/the parent company...both very good players

would like to see some "marginal" guys do something..but they probably get confused as to which ball choice to make....alas...kiss method would help...

end of my rant....wanted to try some more "track"...but w/so much just out...and so much more on the way

may del/& co. should re-evaluate....

Maybe they have too much stuff, but like with ebonite, it's decent stuff so it really ain't all that bad.  Though I see the point about how it'd be sad to see your favorite ball be discontinued quickly.

I see your point. However, with the recent releases, we completed three lines of balls in which someone could get everything they need out of a single line. Like asymmetric, we have it complete. Like high end symmetric, we have it all covered. Like cheaper stuff, we may have the best mid priced line up on the market, and it covers everything the best since you have the Desert in there. We started a 4th line (even though on the site it is in with the Classic perf, if you look in the catalog at your pro shop, it is a 4th line).

I like how track has completed all 3 lines.  This gives the bowler an arsenal at different price points.

sammy,

I understand your frustration but Track has made the moves it has because it wanted to broaden its customer base. The Solutions are balls that give great performance for the $.......the Heat series is basically there as a midpriced symmetrical line......the Arsenal Series is there because it is a highend symmetrical line....and ofcourse there is the highend asymmetrical stuff.

There are quite a few reasons they have made the move they have. FIRST: They made a highend symmetrical line because there are bowlers that don't like asymmetrical equipment.

I hope this helps explain a little bit,
