Drilling a Track 811A
« on: January 23, 2012, 12:24:30 PM »
I am thinking of drilling an 811A to fit the category of "strong angular ball" in my bag.  My stats: 16 mph, 300 rpm, can vary axis tilt quite a bit but prefer to go with around 45 degrees.  My PAP is 5" over and 1/4" up.  I was thinking of going with a pin above the ring finger and mass bias about 2 inches right of the thumb as this is a drilling I like.  The goal is to be able to move inside as much as I can reasonably expect to go with my rev rate but still be able to have decent carry.  Anyone who has any experience with this ball that can give me some insight would be appreciated.

I did 55X4 7/8X 25 dual angle layout and love mine. With my rev rate most high end balls start up too early, but the 811 is very angular. For lower rev rates just reduce the pin to pap distance. Good luck, hope this helps. Check out my shops Facebook or YouTube for some vids
