Track Sensor Xcel 15lbs question
« on: May 14, 2012, 04:24:33 PM »
Just got a new 15lb Track Sensor Xcel I'm thinking about drilling and was curious if anyone had any info on the Superthane coverstock used on this ball?

Since it's from 1996, I'm thinking Slngshot-type of ball with more flare but it could be stronger than that.

That was the core pic I was looking for and couldn't find. I'm in between on drilling it or selling it. I had a lightly used Green Sensor a few years ago and the ball was a lot stronger then I was expecting. Same for my Synergy ETS I drilled up not too long ago. I never had one of these so I was glad to find one.

The Synergy's were incredibly strong balls ... back then. I especially liked the control aspect of the ETS. The regular pearl and solid had  ridiculous amounts of flare!

My ETS has about 10 games on it currently. The ball on todays THS is a lot stronger then I was expecting. I don't remember the angles but the pin is below the ring finger, 5" from my pap and the ball starts hooking early and doesn't stop. It is fun to watch. ETS in every since of the word when it hits the pins.
