Help complete what's in my bag...
« on: March 22, 2011, 01:50:28 AM »
Im looking for a little help to fill in my arsenal. I was a Storm guy but I am now looking to other companies. Here is what is in my arsenal now:

Invasion-pin right of ring cg kicked out to the right-no hole

Domination-pin right of ring cg kicked out out  to the right-small hole

Virtual energy-pin right of ring cg kicked out out  to the right-small hole(although I think this ball just died on me)

718a Pin above ring/middle finger-cg kicked out about 1" right- no hole

WD-plastic

 I was thinking 505a or 300c. Maybe a 505c if I can find a NIB. Thoughts?

I obviously have a huge gap that needs to be filled. Im looking to get more Tack gear. I have been impressed with the 718a so far. I would like to narrow it down to 4 balls. I really need gear for lighter/burnt conditions. Im also looking for something a little less angular that is a bit more rolly.

I am right handed. Ball speed is 16mph. rev rate about 300-350. Throw 15lbs.

Any help is greatly appreciated! open to any suggestions....

I would definitely start with a 715C. Every ball you have is aside from the invasion and domination is skid flip. You need a ball that will give you a different motion. So first ball would be a 715C. Now you do have a huge gap behind the 718A. You can go with a 505A, and then a 300C. If you can find a NIB 505C, get it. It would fill the gap for you. Let me know if you have any questions.

505C gives a clean smooth reaction. The 505A is going to go a touch longer and be more angular off the spot. The 300C is easily an arrow straighter than the 505C. Having the 505C and 300C could easily help your arsenal. These are the pieces you need to round out your arsenal.

If you're open to Hammer products (also made by Ebonite) the Hardcore Hammer Grind is great control piece at a reasonable price.  It has the same coverstock as the original Black Widow, but a weaker core.  One of the few balls I've owned that holds well in the midlane but doesn't jump off the spot.
