Track Arsenal Angular
« on: February 28, 2005, 05:39:23 AM »
This ball is Tracks first high performance ball with no mass bias block.  Not oily is this ball very good looking, but its performance will get the general public buzzing again.

The spec: 15.4 2" pin and 23/4 top weight.

Bowler spec: 16.5mph 101/2 track diameter.  PAP= 4 7/8 and 1/2 down. Yes I spin it a lot!

Layout: Pin below fingers under ring finger 5 3/4 x 3 1/2 favorite layout.

This ball never rolls out and it creates so much room on the lane.  It is a sharp turn into the pocket, this is on a house pattern and I can play all over the lane.

If you want the most versatile ball in the TRACK LINE then you want this one.

Just got both of my Arsenals last week, I will post a review soon, but if they are anything like my GP2 (813 first 3 games in league out of box with my 2nd one) these should be good too!

NOOOO!!! Stop the madness!!!  I've wanted every Track ball that has come out since the Rule, and I'm too poor to get them all, lol!  I haven't seen this ball in action yet, but from Rick's videos and the ratings of this ball on the Track website makes it sound like an awesome ball!  I need a job, I need money, I WANT TRACK!

Angular is a great ball. As George mentioned, it is a little stronger than the Xception for me.

It is going to be priced below the highend asymmetrical stuff, but slightly higher than the Crash, Freakazoid etc...

Hey Sactown,

Good to see you out here on BR.  I think I spoke with you at Columbia's bag seminar last year when Curtis W. was there.

I also agree with you, this ball has been a very nice strong med ball for me just above my Xception.  Need to work on my arsenal for the Nats, this is looking pretty good so far to help get downlane with great recovery.

I know a lot of people are comparing this ball to the Freak Out. Is this ball stronger at the breakpoint than the Freak Out?
Thanks,

this ball is definatly stronger than the Xception. Still gets good length, turn, and hit. Another Excellent addition to the track family.

dw,

I compare it to the FreakOut, but yes, the Angular is a little strong in the backend. It backends like a reactive. The FreakOut read the entire lane very well.....but if the FreakOut had this cover prep I imagine it would have been close.
