I had my GP2 sanded to 600 grit, drilled stacked with pin and cg out. I go to a house with a heavy shot, and it doesn't move much for that drilling. Is it possible I need to take it to 1000 grit, and 600 is too much? Just needing some help before this ball goes into the bargain bin.

You know shipper that's funny. When I started off, I was throwing too hard. Throwing it was the correct term, cause I wasn't rolling it instead. Maybe I just don't match up with it very well. But I'm very disapointed in it at this point.

I could shine it up some, and use it on our house shot. I thought it would work this way, but it's a let down so far.

Well, test number two. I left it at 600 grit, and put it in the polish machine. Used it right after that on a fresh house shot just oiled. The roll out is gone now that I had of course on the THS the way the surface was.

But, it's still a really predictable arc, and carries very well. It still got through the oil, and quite a bit of hook with the polished surface. I don't know how it will be on a heavier shot, but I'll find out then decided on what to do with it. It looks like I'll be able to play a more down and in shot on heavy oil. Which, that's the way I first leared to bowl, so that's a comfortable shot for me. We'll see how it goes I guess.
