Heat in my opinion....Power Plus with Mica, 2.50 Rg and .037 diff...HRPS pearl is Monsson reactive pearl, 2.54 RG and .033 diff.

Solution is close, but the dif is even higher than the Heat's.

Clint,
Thanks. I was thinking along that line.
I had the original Heat, which I liked...but can't remember its reaction.
I know I won some money with it.
Is this release pretty close to the Original Heat?

It is supposed to be an exact dupe, other than the logos.

Duke,

That Storm Monsoon cover is pretty strong and that core's diff is pretty low. My guess is that the HTPS pearl is halfway between a Heat and a Solutions PP Ex, but probably closer to the Heat. I don't think the HTPS has the backend of the Sol Ex; but others would have to verify the Heat, as that's one I haven't thrown yet. Haven't seen it locally either. There have been lots of tests and tons of discussions here.

charlest,
Thnnks for the info...I'll do a search, and do some research on past posts.
I'm playing around with the covers on a couple of balls I have lying around: HRPSP and a Bonanza II I bought from Beans. The Bonanza has a Superflex (brown) cover, with a AMF Triumph core (supposedly). The ball worked OK in the summer Sport league, which was a 2 foot shorter pattern.
Thanks again,
