Ok, now that I got your attention......

I didn't feel like continuing the Darkside topic started a few weeks ago, because I'd rather get some fresh responses/replies/reviews.

I recently picked up a 16lb 2oz Darkside with a 3" pin out and a 2.75oz top weight.  

How does the Darkside react on the lanes in comparison to balls rated for the same conditions?  Say, like a Blue Gryphon, XL or any other medium to light oil ball you can think of.

Lastly, could someone recommend a drill pattern that would more or less keep the ball relatively weak.....like for LIGHTER medium patterns at the MOST?

Pin_Krusher IS a serious threat to modern day bowling wood as we know it today.

I was speaking with Charlest last night and he mentioned going with the pin over the ring finger and CG stacked beneath it.

I'd like it to be smooth not jumpy, but still finish up relatively strong in the backend.  I was looking for it to cover medium to light oil lanes and nothing more than that because I have too many damn balls as it is now.  Also I have other light to medium oil equipment that have big backends already.

SO....it looks like length with a smooth arcing backend, keeping it 3-4 boards stronger than the Sonic X Solid.
