track ball = virtual gravity
« on: November 13, 2010, 04:04:00 PM »
Well I got lucky and brought a  VG from my friend fofr 40 bucks and it only has like 5 or 6 games on it. I want to maybe not drill thiss ball strong and was wondering what ball equals to the VG. Also, what ball could go above my VG to be a heavy oil ball?

Maybe the 916AT... BUT I THINK IT WILL BE ROLLING earlier than VG.. over the VG could be an invasion

I really dont think Track has a ball that is similiar to the VG. Id say if anything, the 715T maybe the closest. The post above stated that the 916AT may be close but I would have to disagree because the 916 isnt a solid coverstock like the VG is...

If you wanted to save a little money, then with the right layout then a person may can get the 505T rolling close to the VG. I ahve owned them all and by far my 505T is perhaps my most used ball! Hope this helps, John

I have a 715T that replaced my VG. I think it is really close, I actually find it to be a bit more versatile than the VG. I am very happy with it!!

715T is definitely your replacement for a VG.

I can't find locate information on what the coverstock is on the 916AT.  It's not promoted as a hybrid or pearl.  The 920T is a hybrid cover.  Any links to what the coverstock is?

just purchased a 505T to put in between my 715T and 607A, it rolls really nice, reminds me of the Mutant Cell but a bit weaker, same motion. I have 715T at 2000Ab, 505T at 4000ab and 607A at 1000 polished. All drilled identical 65x4.5x30

The 715 has been great for me, 18 games, lowest 192 only game under 200..high 276 averaging over 225 with it. I am very happy with 505T also, shot 635 and didnt hit my mark as consistent as i usually do, I think the 3 balls fit togther very well. The 505T is my new benchmark ball
