Title: Track Cleaning products
Post by: mikeyhammer on September 03, 2005, 03:31:32 PM
Hello I have a track slash been using it for about 8 months.  I have been using renew it and Hook it to clean it.  I am almost out of both so I wanted to know what in the track products would be good to use on that ball?  Sorry if this is already been posted.

Clean N Dull is the best cleaner you will find on the market! It works on any ball and deep cleans the cover. There is none better.

Hey Mikey,

Sparebowler asks a very good question.  If it was OOB go with Clean and Dull as the guys say.  If it wasn't OOB, please let us know what surface it was and we'll try to recommend the appropriate cleaner bud...

Thanks everyone for the replies.

Yes the ball is still out of box condition.  Just had it drilled and started throwing it.  Tried to clean it after every six games or so.  Ok so the clean and dull.  Good.  It was the closest one I read to the finish on the ball. Thanks again everyone!

Mikey and Guys,

Renew-It is a cleaner/polisher. If he used that on it, it is no longer a dull ball unless he scoth-brited it or the equivalent after using Renew-it. Renew-it's cleaning properties are based on Hook-it which is added at the factory, from what someone told me. Hook-it is a deep cleaner.

Yes I only do one coat of renew it to give it a nice clean then slap some hook it on their.  It has not affected the reaction of the ball at all.  I do have scotch bright pads if I wanted to take it down some more.

I have never tried the Clean and Dull, but I do know that the Legends cleaner works well, has anyone tried both.  Which is better?
