Track Crash...Is this sucker sweet?
« on: October 02, 2005, 02:44:10 PM »
I'm pretty sure it is.

Just threw without perfect fit today.

This sucker gets some length and has quite a bit of recovery.
Angular.  From what I see!

Too sharp???

I may be lookin for a 15?

Lucky,

I love mine. I found it a little over/under at first, then after I burnt the track in, it handled quite well. I think it was really an under valued ball, it was similar when it came out to the crunchtime. For me, it really plays well on true medium lanes, especially if they are striped. I do have a problem at times with it rolling out too early for me when the lanes start burning up, but then thats when I change lines.

I've heard a lot of people saying how over/under or uncontrolable this ball is.  It seems to be quite strong, and from what I've seen, it's easily controlable!  I've seen Jason Dee (Track Int. Amateur Staff) throw the ball and wow it has awesome backend.

I've also seen Jeff Walsh throw the ball at a Labour Day tournament at Bowlerama West in Toronto, Ontario.  The ball was very consistent for him; it had pretty good recovery, and it seemed very controlable.  On a flush shot, the ball (as all Track balls) hit and sounded like a freight train .... lol cliche.

The ball is definitely angular, but I think it's perfect.

Mine really came around when I hit it with some grey scotchbrite to knock the polish off.
