Track Equipment and the World Championship Pattern Results
« on: July 19, 2005, 12:53:06 PM »
What's up FASTTrackers,

Just reporting in on how I faired against the elusive World Championship pattern tonight in league. Once against, an oldy but a goody came to the rescue for some top notch games. I only threw the Triton Elite, there were a couple of times I did attack the lanes with the Rule and X-Ception though. Other than that, it was all Triton Elite all night.

Games: 161,199,229,181,175,159
Total Pinfall: 1104
+/-: -96
Average: 184

I got really hot the 2nd and 3rd games, but after that it went downhill. I kept leaving corner pins and my 10 pin spare shooting was completely horrible...I'm going to be going to practicing quite a bit on 10 pin conversions because it really cost me tonight..I could at least been -20 or -30 but because of the poor spare shooting I managed -96! I pretty much played the same shot that Loschetter played on television. I didn't use the sanded ball trick to build me a line, it would've been destroyed by the other players anyways. Started out using the X-Ception but the backend was getting really aggressive. Tried the Rule but I couldn't get it produce enough energy on the backend, so out came the Elite and I was getting great hit and carry as long as the pocket was hit. Only got one stone 9 out of the night which is great for me! Overall, this shot is very easy and anybody can excel on it as long as your spare game is almost perfecto! Gotta get back on the lanes and practice spares! Another challenge put in front of me and I shall overcome it! Hope this helps anybody that is seeking to bowl on this pattern. Any input, thoughts, opinions, are greatly appreciated! God Bless you all!

Hey great update. I myself would love to see how I fare off on the World Championship Pattern. What line did you play (Loschetter's line as well)?

Ramtart,

I could not swing it and get the revs for it to come back like Loschetter, but I was playing a similar line...I was just playing it inconsistent, one ball would get to far out, one would be pulled...thus I started crappy to in the middle doing fairly decent then to my last game back to crappy! I really enjoy bowling on these pba shots. Practice can only make you better...and I really need to start practicing ten pins because I missed a bunch of them last night! I would've saw some better scores if I would have picked up about 50% of what I missed! Any more questions feel free to post in the thread!
