Arsenal Angular Vs Unleashed
« on: July 21, 2005, 09:33:39 AM »
Well all you track people how would these balls compare? Needing ssomething to get down the lane on inside angles with some pop at the end. Bowl mainly on wood lanes oil to 36' buff to 41' I believe medium heavy oil medium backends. Any other suggestions appreciated.

Are you wanting a replacement for the Unleashed or something to compliment it?

I would say either an Exception 5.0 or Rule.
The Angular has quite a bit more length than the Unleashed and may not read early enough to play that line especially if that is where you are playing with the PU. The Rule and 5.0 are pretty much in the middle between the PU and Angular.
Haven't seen a 5.0 on the lanes yet but I have seen the rule several times and I have a PU and as far as I can tell the Rule is a couple of feet later and turns the corner harder when used by someone with style close to mine.

I agree. The 5.0 is probably the best replacement. You may have to adjust the surface (depending on the surface you have on your PU). The Angular will get down the lane too far before making its move in comparison to what the PU will get with its OOB finish.

5.0 all the way....

And has anyone seen the 5.0 shirt yet? Learn was wearing it at the trade show yesterday and it was the nicest looking shirt EVER. I normally do not order/wear ball shirts as it dates the shirt, but I think this one is a MUST HAVE.
