Track Fairy Delivers New Balls
« on: August 06, 2005, 10:32:58 AM »
I received five new balls on my Door step yesterday afternoon.

2 Delta 1  1 1 inch pin 2oz top/ 1 3 inch pin 3 1/2 top
2 solutions  1 each    ex 4 inch pin 3 top/regular one 2 inch pin 3 1/2 top
1 Arsenal reactive     4 inch pin 3 oz top

I won't be able to drill them this weekend because I am working. I will drill them Tuesday night and give some reviews soon after that.

Trackumbia,

The Delta 1 will be using the GOO-LS reactive coverstock except it will be sanded out of the box...

Mitch,

let us know what you think of these balls, I'm really wanting to hear about the Delta 1 and Arsenal Reactive!

Im not denying that LANE1 but they must be so many overlapping ball coming out? They seem to have decided to make all new balls for all their lines in the period of a year!

Yeah, they're releasing new balls and discontinuing old ones fast, Storm does the same thing. Sales dictate this, and you can't blame them. If you get a ball you really like and want another one, you better grab another one fast.

Okay..

what is the point of hijacking a thread by saying so and so is putting out too many balls...

who cares??

Why the big deal....

Check out the Track Catalog....

See that there are 3 seperate and complete lines of balls...

Seems like a pretty smart way to do business...

So feel free to go get your panties in a bunch about something else somewhere else...

(rant off...)

srlunatic we are simply pointing out that in the last year or so Track have changed their ball release policy and have probally doubled it from about 5/6 balls a year to now probally double that.
People who are brand loyal start to find this annoying that the latest and greatest ball from their company they just bought has been replaced a few months later with a newer so called better ball! Brunswick made this mistake in the late 90's and columbia in the last few years lost a lot of die hard fans by releasing to many new balls in a short period of time.

I would be drilling them but I am preparing for a very big inspection. I have been working late all week and I will be working late tonight as well. I will be inspected Tuesday morning and I am planning on drilling them that night. i can't wait to drill the Solutions. They should be extremely versatile and they look good as well.

AS far as the amount of balls we release, we are building three seperate lines and we needed to fill some voids to complete them. I suspect we will slow down in the near future since the lines are almost complete. I like a few less releases but I am very happy to have the different looks I can put on the lanes now. I use to have problems matching up on certain lane conditions but we have such a good line now and have filled the holes to where I am never without a look now.

Mitch, sounds good and good luck with your inspection man.
Let us know how you laid these new releases out and what type of reads you get from them on different conditions (THS, PBA, etc.) Good luck!
