Title: Track Gurus
Post by: dogman666 on October 31, 2005, 02:43:52 AM
I recently purchased a Desert Heat for my house shot and love this ball.  I have been transitioning from a multiple board crank shot to a simple down and in with 17-19 mph.  For wetter stuff I also got an intense inferno but ended up selling it because it was too much ball.  I'm interested in getting another Track ball that will break more than the Desert but not off the lanes.  RPM's are around 450.  Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Well...something a bit more than the Desert would be the Slash, original Heat, Soultion, Solution Ex....

However, what exactly do you mean by break more? Overall hook or more backend?

Something that allows me to go down and in without over reacting.  More backend would probably the answer.  Thanks Clint.

Hey dog,

If the Intense was too much, I'd go with the Solution PP EX.  It's about 2-3 boards stronger for me compared to the Desert but you have much more revs so the difference should be around 3-5 more.

The Solution EX also offers very good length with good pop on the backend, it's a touch longer then our Heat which likes to start up a hair earlier.

With what you have said, I agree the Solution Ex is probably the best choice out there.

If you can find one...a Crash would be a good, similiar alternative to the EX...discontinued for this season
