Track in the Central Region

Your Track bashing topic happens to be locked, so I will post my comments in this new topic.

Last summer I bowled in 3 regionals using other brands and I did not average over 190 for 24 qualifying games.  Then in August Carl Hurd had me come out to Akron to bowl in Ace Mitchell's tournament and that is when I met Mr. Fig. After some good conversations with both Carl and Fig I decided to give Track a chance.  Carl put together an arsenal consisting of Risings, Kinetics, and a Temper.  At that time I could not get the Risings to do squat for me, then Scoot performed some of his coverstock magic and they started to come to life.  I used the Kinetics in our local Master's tournament in September and I was able to stay in the top 5 throughout 15 games of qualifying and I averaged 236 for the 10 game finals.  I then started to become a serious Track fan. In October I went to the USBC Masters and was able to stay above the board using the Kinetics and Risings for the first block then went -50 for the second block and during my struggles in that block my physical game really got messed up to where it took me 3 months to work out of (thanks Rick for getting me back on Track and out of that slump).

I have bowled 2 regionals this season using nothing but Track, primarily the Kinetics, Kinetic Energy's and Temper and am averaging 214 for the 16 games of qualifying.  (That average would have been at least 10 pins higher if it was not for MY stupid mistakes).

I am now a true believer in the Track brand of bowling balls.  All of you neysayers need to pick any one of Tracks bowling balls, drill it up, try it out for awile and then come back here and post your thoughts. I am willing to bet that you will have nothing but positive comments.

Glad to see that things are going well JD.
As for the little mechanical / physical things.  They'll work their way out.  You just have to let it happen.  Stay focused on the positive!
