I had a Rising drilled up Saturday (layout #1) and used it for my Sunday night league (Brunswick pro-Anvilane). The motion I got out of the ball really fit my game to a T. And the carry was above impressive. I shot a 758 out of the box (244 (blow out 7-10 in the tenth), 257, 257). If the ball just sniffed the pocket, the pins were gone. I was able to use the Rising for all 3 games with very minimal moves for the night.

I tried it again last night on old wood lanes that were just oiled and stripped and the ball was way too strong. I was crossing 4th arrow in practice. Is there a pearl Rising coming out soon? What do you guys use in the Track line for a drop down when the Rising is too strong? Pin-up, polished Rising, Kinetic, etc?

Hey JS,

Yes, you can drill another Rising with the pin above bridge but please contact me first as to the shift or placement of mb. My second Rising with pin up and litely polished is a good 5-7 boards weaker for me (differences will vary from bowler to bowler).

Another option is to go to our Kinetic which is not quite as strong as our Rising. It can clear the heads easier and have quite a bit of backend reaction. Hope this helps some....

well, was ready to give up on the rising until... last night, old amf house with fresh oil on resurfaced wood. started with the kinetic, but did not get a good look. figured, what the heck and pulled the rising out. stood 30 and moving left chasing the oil line all night. breakpoint at around 10. went 259, 266, 246 for 771. i am guessing that the lighter volume fresh house block with clean backends at this house was more suited to the pin up rising. the heavier volume with outside hang at an older synthetic house made it struggle. the medium volume and tight backends at another older synthetic house made it struggle as well. very instructive tonight. at least for my game, this was a good indication of where the pin up rising will work. i also paid for the ball easily with a side pot, brackets, and winning the 30 clean jackpot that the league offered. thanks to tenpinspro for the excellent service.
