Ok, since people here keep saying that track magic is a dry lane ball I went out and tested another one. Thought that maybe something was wrong with my first one since it hooks a ton even though its sanded to 2000 then highly polished. NOPE. 2nd one hooks just as much. I would compare the Magic to a Super Power, except that the Super Power is a little more angular while the Magic is smoother. Both, in my opinion, are very similar except that the Magic hits harder.
I don't see how this ball could be a dry lane ball by any means. Threw it on freshly oiled lanes and ball is a monster. Ball revs up fast, starts its move in the midlane and covers the whole lane with smooth power. Threw this ball side by side against the Threat, Super Power Pearl, Assault Pearl, Cherry Bomb, Thing, XXL, Black Cherry, Panther, Blue Sparkle Gryphon. Magic rolled sooner in oil than any of those balls. Its also great in carrydown, rolls right through it. Also threw it against a Phenom and it got about the same length but rolled smoother on the backend.
Magic a dry lane ball? LOL! For who? If you think that the Magic is a dry lane ball please state your style. I just don't see this as a dry lane ball even for those whose magnitude of manliness leaves much to be desired, people like Clutch, Leftside, Scott Scriver, Nicanor, Tish Johnson and SawMill. What I see is a ball that rolls in the midlane and has a smooth rolling backend, which is hard and continuous.
And you want to talk about hit? Just ask the people who seen me throw it.
Peach<~~~owner of 2 track magics both of which hook a TON. What the heck am I going to do with 2 of these? I think I'll keep one for oil and give the other away, hooks too much.

pchee2<~~~strokin the ball with cranker revs and spraying the lanes for an average of a buck 62. This guy is full of STUFF!
