Inertia and carry down
« on: September 05, 2006, 04:32:37 AM »
How will the Inertia handle carry down? If your in a situation where there is to much carry down for your Equation could you go to your Inertia or would the Machine or Artillary be better choice?

I'd love to know EXACTLY how the Inertia handles carrydown as well!

THe Inertia will handle carrydown "ok" if you can get the ball around it. If you prefer to play in the oil and carrydown the Machine would be a better choice!

I drilled mine weak star so it allows me to stay pretty direct.  I haven't tried taking the cover down yet to see how much more it can grab but I will try that and report back to you guys.

5 Man teams on snythetic lanes 3rd game of the night, twilighters league in Portland ( very competitive, 837 was top score for the night) Just about everyone throwing highend aggressive balls -old & new! My arsenal artillary went down first toss standing on 20 out over 10 and kept going, washout. My Inertia is drilled pin under ring  2.5 inch pin out. 5 X 3.5 X 5MB. high speed &  med revs standing on the 15 down the 7/8. The Inertia cut thru the carry down like a hot knife in butter. Was no problem for it at all. Reads the lane early, rolls smooth, makes a great predictable move to the pocket and hits extremely hard. Left me 3 or 4 10 pins on beautiful pocket shots but to be honest that was my fault for throwing to fast! When I managed to slow down to med/fast the ball carried everything everytime. Still managed to end with a 204 clean game.  With this drilling my rating on carrydown would be 5*****stars. Excellent ball.
