Rantings, I am not really able to comment much on the reaction of the Atomic Charge, but the Slash is an awesome ball. Scroll through a couple of pages and read my mini review. Every time I get a chance to throw this ball I like it more and more

Slash is an awesome ball. Gives a consistent reaction and more importantly, a "readable" reaction. The ball does the same thing over and over. Exactly what a bowler wants. The Atomic should start earlier due to its RG and more aggressive cover, but from what I have seen, you need a lot of speed or lots of oil or both to get the Atomic to the pocket to hit, otherwise it hits like a pumpkin. This observation is based for the one Atomic I received from Storm through the VIP program. The Slash on the other hand is great for almost all styles. I have seen people with no hand use it with success and people hooking the lane with it and having success.

Not saying the Atomic will not work, just the Slash is more user friendly and will cover more conditions than the Atomic.
