My Power Machine is RUMBLING!!!!
« on: June 09, 2012, 07:35:31 AM »
I have a Power Machine bowling ball with a stacked drilling.  I am having issues with the ball rolling end-over-end as it goes down the lane.  I just got it resurfaced, but to no avail.  Is it my release that is causing this ball to do this, or is the ball done?  If the first, would anyone suggest getting more side-turn on the release?  I think I might just be going up the back of the ball.  I have bowled with this bowling ball for a long time and haven't had issues with rumbling until recently.  It was always one of my favorites.   :(

BTW, I have actually bowled with a dead ball before, yet that ball did not ever rumble rolling down the lane.

Either it is rolling over the holes due to your release, or the ball has a flat spot in it. Where is the oil line on the ball after you throw it? Is it over the fingers?

From what you are explaining, it is your release.
